Delete your Headland account
Last updated: October 17, 2026
You can delete your Headland account yourself, from the app or the website, at any time. Headland is published by Lionheart Media LLC.
How to delete it
- Sign in to the Headland app, or go to headlandmaps.com/account.
- In the app, open Settings and scroll to the bottom (the website page opens there directly).
- Tap Delete my account, then Yes, delete my account.
Want a copy of your farm first? Use Export in the app before you delete. Can't sign in? Call 985-714-9562 or use our contact form and we'll delete it for you.
What gets deleted
- Your login, email address, name and phone number, right away.
- Your place on every farm you belong to, right away.
- If you are the only owner of a farm: billing stops right away, and the farm with all of its maps, records, notes and photos is permanently deleted 30 days later. You can export it during those 30 days by calling us.
What is kept
- Farms that have another owner stay with that owner. Records you logged on those farms stay part of the farm's history, without your name attached.
- Payment records held by our payment processor, Stripe, as tax and accounting law requires.
- Short-lived server and error logs, which expire on their own.
Delete some data and keep your account
You don't have to delete your account to remove data. In the app, farm owners and members can delete:
- Blocks and plantations, from the map or the Plantations page.
- Logged work, harvest records and to-dos, from the block's page.
- Scouting pins and their photos, notes and drawings, by tapping them on the map.
- A farm member, from the Sharing page (owners only).
Deleted items are removed right away. To have anything else deleted, call 985-714-9562 or use our contact form.
